About Indi Surf

Since 2007 Indi Surf has been offering the best apparel styles and brands in the Surf and Skateboard industry. Our buyers strive to provide only the best items offered by our vendors: Billabong, Da Kine, Electric Visual, Havaianas, Johnnie-O, L Space, Maaji,  O'Neill, Quiksilver, Rainbow Sandals, Reef, Rip Curl, RVCA, Pily Q, Sanuk, Surf Souleil, Vans, Volcom. Owned and operated by real surfers and skaters Indi Surf is a surf shop / skate shop where performance and style still matter.

Owner/Operator has been skating since 1974 and surfing since 1977. Our Head Buyer has been skating since 1972 and surfing since 1975. We stress product differentiation and exclusivity in order to offer the most unique and fashionable styles from the best vendors in the surf/skate industry. We strive to provide only the best quality and style in the business.

The Indi Surf team riders are a loose confederation. We hook them up with gear and advice and try to get them sponsored with the "big" companies as they promote the shop. We try to encourage classic surf/skate style and fun to all of our team riders. We film our surf and skate teams to produce videos that highlight the progressive but classic surf/skate style we encourage as well as the latest styles from our lines (Indi & Surf Souleil). Work hard and play hard is our motto and we live it everyday!

We give generously every year to local charities and fund drives such as Breast Cancer Research (Walk for the Cure, Womens Coalition Against BC), Billy Fisher Foundation, Plandome Womens Club, Katie Oppo Memorial Walk/Run,  and several local school and church fund raising efforts (too many to list here but we will if you need them). On our first year of operation we donated and assembled 20 skateboards in a demonstration to the East Harlem Tutorial Program.  We're looking into doing a Cystic Fibrosis surf event next summer.

It's our pleasure to spread the surf/skate stoke with our brick and mortar and online customers. If you're in the neighborhood (North Shore of Long Island), please stop by and say hello!
